The Prisoner Ombudsman's Office has assisted many prisoners, former prisoners, visitors and family members deal with a problem or concern they have. If we are not the right organisation to help, for example we do not provide Legal Advice or Medical Advice, we will help you contact the right one. If you think we may be able to provide advice, simply contact the office by phone, email, fax or letter.
If you need when you phone us, we can get an interpreter to help us talk. Just tell us your language, wait and do not hang up.
The Freephone is manned from 8.30am to 12 noon and 4pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday excluding public and bank holidays. In addition, outside these hours it always has a message facility which is checked each weekday. In messages remember to leave your full name, how we may help and how we can contact you.
